EDIT: Turns out it wasn't as bad as I'd initially feared. The action was well done and the slow-motion scenes were very pretty to look at. That said, I'd still like to see a film that brings in some of the stanger elements from the comics. I think we've seen from the positive receptions of Paul and Ted that audiences are willing to accept bizzare and quirky nonhuman sidekicks as driving characters in a film, so sooner or later someone's going to have to try and make the leap from weirdness being a strictly comedy-only convention to a sweetening spice to balance out all the sour tones so prevalent in contemporary action fare. So I, like many others, have gotten involved in Self-Epidemic (https://www.deviantart.com/self-epidemic)'s little dA-friend-community rally, and been meeting some cool peeps. Some opportunities for art trades and the like have been opened, so I can see this page becoming a little more productive. Having said thath though, my university work's about to become significantly heftier over the next two or three months, made no easier with getting involved in an ARG project on the side... somehow. Hello everyone! So, this is a new profile for me, where I'll be uploading some of my more original or experimental material as an e-portfolio of sorts. That may include stuff I've made on the fly, or material for group projects, with my workmates' permission, of course. Be sure to expect a mix of both traditionally-made and digital stuff, watercolours and line art. And so, later everyone!
